Academic Support Program

We support Academics by funding teachers’ grant requests and by undertaking projects to create a learning environment that encourages academic success.

Legacy Scholarship

Graduating seniors who are children of Kalāheo High School alumni are eligible for a Legacy Scholarship of $500 or more. The first scholarship was awarded to Natasha Vega in 2017 by KHSF Board members Steven Loretero and Timothy White.

School Archives

In cooperation with the school librarian and administration, the Foundation is committed to a robust School Archives Collection to encourage institutional stewardship so that the history and traditions of the school are continually preserved.  Based on the premise that a school’s legacy should be cultivated, both students and teachers will find primary sources to learn from the past in order to build the future.  Archives not only reveal great stories but also encourage both school and personal pride.
